Biomimicry and Sensory Perception Handouts
Biomimicry and Sensory Perception Handouts
This project involved the design of a series of informational sheets designed to educate readers on the potential relationships between biomimicry (a type of nature inspired design) and various forms of perception. The entire series includes: Hearing; Navigation; Sight; Taste and Smell; Touch; and Other Senses (Echolocation and Sonar).
The layout was designed to be eye-catching and visually engaging to encourage readership. The text associated with the third-party graphics was kept short and simple, aiming to convey a high level overview of some of nature’s more familiar adaptations. Background graphics were selected to complement the associated method of perception, such as the tree bark on the Touch sheet.
